Curriculum

Curriculum

The 15-credit curriculum consists of five courses: one course in analysis, three in structural design, and one elective. One engineering-related graduate-level course (3.0 cr.) taken at another accredited institution may be considered toward the certificate. A “B” average (3.0) must be maintained in order to receive the certificate. Courses in which a grade of “D” is received will not count toward certificate requirements.

Participants who successfully complete the certificate program courses and then enroll in a graduate program may be eligible to transfer credits to that program (for example, the Master of Engineering in Engineering Science offered at Penn State Harrisburg) subject to the approval and the requirements of the specific program.
