From the start of the program, I developed a comprehensive understanding of this particular subset of homeland security, and advanced my awareness of its importance.
The faculty are experts in the field, which is really nice because you're actually interacting with someone with real-world homeland security expertise. You can ask the tough questions and get immediate responses. With that kind of interaction, you learn and challenge yourself.
I’ve had a wonderful experience with the homeland security program. I work full-time as a criminal intelligence analyst, and despite a heavy workload, I was still able to complete the master's program in two years. Having the flexibility to work on school during my off-time has been a huge help in that regard. The homeland security program has been very useful in my current position and has allowed me to stand out and excel in my career field.
