Register now for summer classes at Penn State Harrisburg

Registration for the Penn State Harrisburg summer sessions is open for all students.

Students seeking to take courses over the summer can choose from a full range of undergraduate and graduate courses. Flexible options include on campus and online courses, some courses at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center and programs for educators.

The first summer session runs from May 15 to June 26; second session from June 28 to August 11.

Maymester offers students another convenient option for taking summer courses and it's as easy as 1-2-3 — one course, two weeks, three credits. Maymester classes will run from May 8 through May 18 allowing students to concentrate on one subject over a two-week period and earn three credits. There are housing options available for current students.

High school juniors or seniors can get a jumpstart on college this summer at Penn State Harrisburg by taking college level courses at a 50 percent tuition savings.  Students can earn college credits and experience the workload of a true college class.  Credits can be applied to a Penn State degree and are recognized at all Penn State campuses.  Credits earned at Penn State may also be considered for transfer credit at another institution.  Contact Katie Conners, at, to enroll in the High School Dual Enrollment program.
