Biography

Ms. Nevins has been a part of the nursing work force since 2001, working in orthopedic, vascular, renal, telemetry, and maternity nursing units for eleven years before transitioning to nursing education. Since 2012, Ms. Nevins has worked in both the clinical and academic setting as a Nurse Educator, serving as an adjunct clinical instructor and as a nurse leader in the clinical setting, as a member of various PI, QA, and hospital certification committees. 
During her career, Ms. Nevins has contributed to the nursing profession by presenting at various regional conferences and was invited to present at an international conference.

In 2017, Ms. Nevins joined PSU College of Nursing and the Penn State Harrisburg School of Behavioral Sciences and Education as full-time faculty. She currently teaches in both the clinical and classroom settings, applying her diversified nursing experience in educating tomorrow's nurses in the med/surg, pediatrics, and women's health/obstetrics specialties.
