Biography

Dr. Van Tonningen holds a Ph.D. (1994) in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado. Prior to his arrival at Penn State Harrisburg, he was a professor of electrical engineering at Colorado Technical University and previously served as associate professor of electrical engineering with the U.S. Air Force Academy. Dr. Van Tonningen’s research interests include nonlinear dynamical systems, numerical methods, and wildlife research instrumentation.
