Bottom Fields

Dr. Griess has dedicated her career to the field of education. She has experience teaching and training in the business world, but the majority of her Curriculum Vitae evidences educating adults in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Dr. Griess has practical work experience teaching elementary grades in both the private and public school settings. As her interests in the field transitioned to care and education for children in out-of-school settings, she worked as a program director for an inner-city Camden social service agency providing programming for toddlers through teens. Dr. Griess has also served the field as a center director and multi-site administrator for a large, for-profit education company.

Her hands-on experience insuring quality care for children came full circle when the "born teacher" returned to her roots as an instructor providing training for the childcare community throughout Eastern & Central PA, Delaware & New Jersey. In addition to service as a state-certified instructor and multiple state level steering committees, she has taught as an adjunct instructor at Penn State York in the focused master’s program for Early Childhood Education.
