We Are!

This week, we recognize four Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University.

Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form.

This week, it's thank you to:

Julianna Chaszar, in the College of the Liberal Arts, whose nominator wrote: "Julianna is the most wonderful supervisor that anyone could ask for. She always supports us and helps us excel at work. She makes coming to work a pleasant experience. Thank you, Julianna, for being so kind and supportive."

Lucas Passmore, in the College of Engineering, whose nominator wrote: "Lucas has gone above and beyond his call as a professor. This includes his willingness to answer questions for students and staff and review schedules for students who want to study abroad — and always with a positive attitude."

Lynne Bechdel, with Undergraduate Education, whose nominator wrote: "Lynne Bechdel is one of our schedulers for eTesting in the Testing Center. She does an awesome job in dealing with students who check in and check out of the Testing Center, troubleshooting exam problems, and working with instructors. Lynne is a problem-solver, and she loves working with students!"

Justine Yelk, at Penn State Harrisburg, whose nominator wrote: "Justine’s a bundle of energy! She takes challenges in stride, adjusting to manage a heavy workload while keeping an upbeat attitude. She assists undergraduate and graduate programs and three advisory boards. An alumna, she’s a tremendous asset to the School of Science, Engineering and Technology."
