Penn State Harrisburg, in coordination with local and regional agencies, will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise in its library, on Friday, September 30 starting at 9:00 a.m. The library will be closed to the public between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Electrical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology at Penn State Harrisburg aims to equip students with the various skills necessary to adapt new scientific knowledge to new products by providing students with a solid electrical engineering sciences background, preparing them to become technologist who can bridge the gap between scientific advancement and practical electrical devices and systems.
Students are able to pursue a variety interests, helping graduates develop capabilities to analyze and design a variety of electrical and electronic systems found in many industrial and government settings as well as providing a foundation for further graduate studies. A strong background in the fundamentals is built through a broad-based core in basic sciences (physics and chemistry) and mathematics, as well as engineering sciences and electrical and electronic design principles. The strengths of the program include: an applied, hands-on program; extensive laboratory experience; and promising job placement.
