Two levels of instruction are available: Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced. Refer to the brochure/registration form for complete details.
Water Fitness Classes
Water Fitness Classes for Men and Women (18 years and older) will be held at the following times:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 12:00 - 12:45pm
Tuesday & Thursday 5:30 - 6:30pm
FREE to current Penn State Harrisburg students with ID.
Classes are on-going throughout the semester.

American Red Cross Courses
Lifeguarding
The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over.
Review Course
The purpose of a review course is to give individuals the opportunity to review the course content within a formal course setting. The review course format optimizes a participant’s ability to successfully complete the knowledge and skills evaluations. The responsibility for preparing for the final written exam is shared by the instructor and the participant.
NOTE: Registered participants must be CURRENTLY certified in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR/AED for the professional rescuer.

Guest Swim Pass
$5.00
Guest swim passes may be purchased and used by one related adult or child when accompanied by a valid Penn State Harrisburg faculty/staff/retiree, Penn State student and/or Aquatics Center member (parents must attend and supervise their child at all times). Guest swim passes are limited to when two lifeguards are on duty.
5-Day Pass
$20.00
5-day passes may be purchased and used by COMMUNITY ADULTS. Passes may be purchased for a child when accompanied by a valid Penn State Harrisburg faculty/staff/retiree, Penn State student and/or Aquatics Center member (parents must attend and supervise their child at all times). 5-day passes are not transferable – they may only be used by the person whose name appears on the pass.
**5-day pass users must complete membership application form and sign waiver.
Special Notes and Fees
A fee of $5.00 will be charged to replace lost membership cards.
Pro-rated fees for memberships purchased in the middle of a semester:

Parking On Campus
All vehicles parked on the Penn State Harrisburg campus must display a current vehicle registration permit.
A fee is charged for parking on campus. Yearly Affiliate Parking Permits may be purchased at the Parking Permit Office.
