Science and Technology Building
The Science and Technology Building provides a state-of-the-art home for undergraduate and graduate environmental programs at Penn State Harrisburg. This building, which was enhanced by a $1.6 million addition, provides the environmental students with two pilot labs, an air quality lab, two research labs, offices, a multimedia classroom and a seminar room.
One of the most technologically advanced classrooms in the University system is located in this building. The classroom contains eight computer-enhanced workstations that are connected to the Internet and have the capability to display video and audio through the room's video projector. Team workstations, such as the one in this particular classroom, are well suited for engineering project courses and have been used successfully at a number of prestigious institutions.
