Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources
Jane A. Leipold is Senior Vice President, Human Resources for TE Connectivity, a global manufacturer with fiscal 2013 sales of over $13 billion and approximately 80,000 employees in 50 countries. TE Connectivity designs and manufactures over 500,000 products that connect and protect the flow of power and data inside the products that touch every aspect of our lives —from consumer electronics, energy and healthcare, to automotive, aerospace and communication networks—enabling smarter, faster, better technologies to connect products to possibilities.
In her current role, which she has held since 2006, Jane Leipold is responsible for developing and implementing the Company HR strategy with a focus on leadership and talent development and employee engagement and productivity worldwide. Her global HR responsibilities include talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, payroll and HRIS.
Jane’s previous experience includes roles in engineering and operations where she developed an expertise in quality and reliability engineering, working with manufacturing and engineering sites. Additionally, Jane also has experience in purchasing management with responsibility for purchased products, contracts administration, and supplier quality assurance.
She is a former member of the Board of the Capitol Region United Way in Harrisburg, PA, and is currently a member of the Penn State Harrisburg Board of Advisers in Harrisburg, PA. In addition, Jane has been an invited guest lecturer at Elizabethtown College, Penn State Harrisburg, and the ILR School Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies (CAHRS) at Cornell University.
Jane is a member of HR50, The Personnel Roundtable, and the CHRO Board Academy.
Jane holds a B.S. in Quantitative Business Analysis and an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University. In 2013, Jane received the designation of Pennsylvania State University Fellow.
