James Franklin, Penn State head football coach, will deliver the keynote address at Penn State Harrisburg’s spring commencement Saturday, May 6. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the college will confer nearly 700 undergraduate and graduate degrees during the 9:30 a.m. ceremony at the Hershey Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Students in Penn State Harrisburg’s Cyber Lions club, a student-run organization that focuses on extending information systems technology and security and risk analysis education beyond the classroom, attended the SANS Security East Conference early this semester in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Integrative Studies Seed Grant Program, offered through the Penn State Office for General Education, will support 71 different course development projects this summer.
