Symposium will focus on WMD and US intervention

Penn State Harrisburg will hold a symposium, examining weapons of mass destruction and U.S. intervention, on Wednesday, October 2 from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 212C Olmsted Building.  Titled WMD and US Intervention:  Syria, its Neighbors, and the Past, Present, and Future of Global Security, the session will feature several Penn State Harrisburg faculty.

Speakers will include:

  • Dr. Carol Nechemias – associate professor emerita of political science and public policy;

  • Dr. Triparna Vasavada – assistant professor of public administration;

  • Dr. Juliette Tolay – assistant professor of political science; and

  • Dr. Alexander Siedschlag – professor of homeland security

Admission is free and open to the public.
