Program provides new college experience for working adults

Penn State Harrisburg introduces Weekend College, a program featuring classes held two weekends a month and online, to help working adults balance a busy schedule with attending college.  Weekend College classes begin in January 2013; an information session will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 12:30 p.m. in the Capital Union Building’s Quiet Study on campus.

Weekend College features flexible scheduling options, including on-campus courses held on Friday evening or Saturday morning with online components; additional evening classes, and fully online courses. Students may apply Weekend College credits to accredited certificates, or associate or baccalaureate degree programs at Penn State Harrisburg, with available tracks in Liberal Arts, Business, or Health Science. To fulfill degree program requirements, students may also apply previously earned college credits, if eligible.
