Penn State Harrisburg, in coordination with local and regional agencies, will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise in its library, on Friday, September 30 starting at 9:00 a.m. The library will be closed to the public between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Panel will examine performance-enhancing drugs and sports
Penn State Harrisburg will host an Academic Perspectives on Current Events discussion on “Sports Records: Before and After Performance-Enhancing Drugs” on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from noon to 1:30 p.m. on campus in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge.
The discussion, centered on the effects of performance enhancing drugs and sports, will feature Dr. Charles D. Kupfer, associate professor or American studies and history in the School of Humanities, and Dr. Jeremy Plant, professor of public policy in the School of Public Affairs.
The event is open to faculty, staff, students, and guests.
