Julnes receives two ASPA awards
Dr. Patria de Lancer Julnes, director of Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Public Affairs, has received the Donald C. Stone Award from the American Society for Pubic Administration (ASPA). This award is given to members who have contributed outstanding services to the Society.
Julnes also received the Julia J. Henderson International Service Award from the Section on Women in Public Administration (SWPA). The SWPA mission is summarized as a Section where women and men work together on projects and programs promoting participation and recognition of women at all levels and areas of the public sector. This award is given to members who have contributed outstanding work in international public administration.
Julnes’ academic and professional expertise includes performance measurement, accountability, innovation in government, corruption in government, and citizen-driven governance.
