Daniela Schiller to present on erasing fear memories

Dr. Daniela Schiller will present Changing Fear Memories on Thursday, March 20 at noon in the Penn State Harrisburg Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge. This discussion will focus on her work on the neural mechanisms of emotional control and potential ways to modify or “erase” fear memories.
Assistant professor of neuroscience and psychiatry at Friedman Brain Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, Schiller studies the neuroscience of emotions. She has received the NYAS Blavatnik Award for Young Scientists and has presented on various stages in New York City.
