Penn State Harrisburg, in coordination with local and regional agencies, will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise in its library, on Friday, September 30 starting at 9:00 a.m. The library will be closed to the public between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Center for Survey Research presentation will focus on web-based data collection
Penn State Harrisburg’s Center for Survey Research will present Beyond SurveyMonkey: Collecting Web Data You Can Count On, Thursday, October 24 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room W338 Olmsted Building.
The session will provide an introductory overview of web-based data collection considerations. Topics will include:
- How to tell if web surveys are the right data collection method to meet your needs
- Comparisons of some commonly used web survey tools
- Considerations in web survey project design
- Challenges to consider in collecting data via the web
Participants are encouraged to bring questions to this interactive seminar.
The event is free and open to the public.
