Bio

I have worked as a Professor of English for over twenty, and for over ten years worked as an administrator at East Tennessee State University and at Kean University in Union, N.J. As a literary historian, I have published works in English Renaissance literature (including a book about the poet George Herbert and his family, "Writing the Flesh: The Herbert Family Dialogue" (Duquesne UP, 1999), as well as works about baseball history, including "The American Indian Integration of Baseball" (University of Nebraska Press, 2006, 2009).
