Bio

Dr. Anne S. Douds is a Lecturer in Criminal Justice in the School of Public Affairs at Penn State Harrisburg. Dr. Douds joined the faculty in 2012 after practicing law as a trial attorney for 17 years. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Duke University, her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, and her Ph.D. in Justice, Law and Crime Policy from George Mason University. Her teaching, research, and practice interests include constitutional law, civil rights litigation, victims’ rights and advocacy, veterans’ courts, and social justice.
