Presentation Skills for Business Professionals
[TRDEV 8421]
With careful thought and adequate preparation, an effective oral presentation can be made on any subject. This course will provide participants with information and a set of tools to improve communications with any audience. The course is also a good introduction to the Training and Development master's degree program and the credit course TRDEV 421.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn how to make presentations interactive.
- Develop strategies to maintain participant interest and involvement.
- Learn how to develop and/or locate appropriate icebreakers and energizers according to subject matter or participant involvement.
- Discuss appropriate use of visuals.
- Practice skills learned.

About the Instructor:
Annette M. Cremo, Ph.D.
Annette M. Cremo has been teaching graduate courses in the Training and Development certificate and graduate degree at Penn State Harrisburg for over 15 years.
Her areas of expertise include program development, instructional design, coordination of training programs and assessing training needs in organizations. She is also past president of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
