Penn State Harrisburg brings credit opportunities closer to you by providing undergraduate credit courses at Penn State Hershey, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. A 10-minute drive from Penn State Harrisburg, the programs are largely populated by working adults at the medical center; however, anyone meeting the criteria may participate.
These courses are designed for:
- part-time adult students who want to earn an associate degree
- Penn State students from other campuses who want to take courses while at home
- students from other universities who want to take courses while at home

Courses offered at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center
Please note: If you are interested in taking any of these summer courses, you are strongly encouraged to meet with your academic adviser at your Penn State campus or other institution to ensure that the courses you select meet your specific degree requirements. Please do not assume that these courses will meet your Penn State degree requirements or will transfer to other institutions; make sure you have received the appropriate advice before registering for summer courses. While full-time students at Penn State Harrisburg and other Penn State campuses, and students from other colleges and universities, are welcome to take courses at the Hershey Medical Center (HMC) in the summer, they are responsible for obtaining course approval from an assigned faculty adviser, school director, or DUS coordinator. New and returning adult students at HMC: Please consult Ronda Stump or Dr. Pat Johnson to make sure the courses you take are needed for your particular academic and career paths.
