What is On-Campus Interviewing?

Career Services' On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) service offers students the opportunity to interview for entry-level positions, and in some cases internships, with a variety of employers from business, industry, and government.

On-campus interviewing is a pre-select system, where employers select candidates from among the students who request interviews with them. * All seniors will automatically be given access to see the postings for On Campus Interviews, as well as non-OCI jobs, when they search the job list. Other students may request that “OCI” be added to their account. There is no charge.

Most positions offered through this services are full-time opportunities in business, industry, or government and are for students with technical or business backgrounds. Students with backgrounds or interests in other areas should not rule out on-campus interviewing as only one method of seeking employment. For more information on job search strategies, we recommend that you speak with a counselor at the Career Services office on campus.

NOTE: This on-campus interviewing program offers interviews at Penn State Harrisburg, University Park, and Penn State Erie – the Behrend College. Students at other campuses must be willing to travel to those campuses for scheduled interviews. In some cases, video interviews through Polycom may be able to be arranged
