Capital Area Early Childhood Training Institute

The Capital Area Early Childhood Training Institute (CAECTI) is a community-based professional development and research organization of the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education at Penn State Harrisburg. The purpose of the Institute is to improve the quality of child care for young children by developing, providing, and coordinating a wide variety of professional development opportunities and early childhood services in the South Central Region of the Commonwealth.

Institute services include: Non-credit CDA programs, professional development workshop/series, and STARS technical assistance, as well as Early Childhood Mental Health Project services to Keystone STARS early learning programs in the South Central Region of Pennsylvania.

School of Business honors society inductees

Twenty-two students from Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Business Administration were recently inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society that recognizes students in the top 10 percent of undergraduate and top 20 percent of graduate programs at schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business – AACSB International.
