Penn State Harrisburg, in coordination with local and regional agencies, will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise in its library, on Friday, September 30 starting at 9:00 a.m. The library will be closed to the public between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Veterans Day Ceremony
The Pennsylvania State Harrisburg Veterans Organization (XGI), invite you to attend the Penn State Harrisburg Veterans Day observance. Following our ceremony, there will be a small reception in the Morrison Gallery inside the library. Please make every effort to join us—let's honor those among us who have served.
Our observance will last approximately 30 minutes and feature speeches from guest speakers:
- LtCol Mark A. Schutta
- LCDR James Ebbert
- CMDCM Sidney Dawson Jr.
The ceremony will also include singing of the National Anthem by Dr. Felicia Brown-Haywood and a laying of a wreath by the Penn State Harrisburg Army Reserve Officer Training Corps to honor those veterans who have given their lives in the line of duty.
