Lunch to Celebrate March Equinox

Nowruz marks the first day of Spring or Equinox, as the beginning of the year in the Persian calendar. The festival has been celebrated for over 3,000 years. Students will have a wonderful time learning and exploring this traditional festival through food and presentations.

It is celebrated on the day of the Northward equinox, when the sun crosses the celestial equator and equalizes night and day. March equinox is observed in many countries in the Middle East, such as Iran, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
