"Late Night Laughs"
With Comedian Richie Redding!
Since starting his stand-up career in 2002, Richie Redding has developed into one of comedy’s unique voices. As a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, it was unlikely that his comedy career would start off in urban rooms and burlesque shows, but that’s how it happened. By assuming the intelligence of the audience, he draws people into his world with a refreshingly irreverent perspective on life and current events.
Redding's set is high-energy and highly autobiographical, drawing on a lifetime of ridiculous true stories that can only happen to a recovering alcoholic Ivy-Leaguer that lives in the 'hood.' His boy band looks and colorful word selection have gained him well-deserved attention, earning him a spot in HBO’s Comedy Festival as part of the Lucky 21 Show. In 2010, he moved to Jersey City and is now becoming a regular at New York’s top comedy clubs. College audiences have also embraced him, as both a headliner and regular opener for Kevin Hart, Bill Bellamy, Dave Attell and DL Hughley.
In 2010, Redding had the honor of being selected to headline a USO tour of South Korea, entertaining the 25,000 American troops stationed there. His fans in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware area continue to tune in and follow his comedy as he is a regular on NBC’s “10 Show” and the Preston and Steve Morning Show on 93.3 WMMR.
