Penn State Harrisburg, in coordination with local and regional agencies, will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise in its library, on Friday, September 30 starting at 9:00 a.m. The library will be closed to the public between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Making a Difference with Data
Data users from across the Commonwealth are set to gather at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey for the PaSDC’s 2013 Annual Data User Conference. This year’s conference "Making a Difference with Data," will center on the importance of demographic and socioeconomic data in the areas of planning and decision making for various statewide and community initiatives.
Secretary of Aging, Brian Duke, will kick off the conference with a talk about Pennsylvania’s aging population, and Lee Ann Labecki, formerly of PCCD, will deliver the keynote address on the topic of data visualization and digital dashboards.
