Praxis Exam Pass Rates
In October 1998, the U.S. Congress enacted Title II of the Higher Education Act (HES). This act requires that all colleges and universities prepare and submit an annual report on teacher preparation and certification to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). The information must also be disseminated to the general public on an annual basis. Thus, the following chart highlights our Title II information with you and verifies the strengths of our programs.

For this testing period, too few took the tests to be recognized within the Title II data, or as in the case of Reading Specialists, Title II does not report the pass rate for Advanced certificate programs.|
Please Note: While our testing scores are excellent, the true quality of a program must be judged using multiple measures. At Penn State Harrisburg, we are proud of our national accreditation, our courses, the field experiences, and the faculty.
