Penn State Harrisburg, in coordination with local and regional agencies, will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise in its library, on Friday, September 30 starting at 9:00 a.m. The library will be closed to the public between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Certification Program in Secondary (7-12) Special Education

The certification program in Secondary (7-12) Special Education is designed for an individual who holds a grade level 7-12 Instructional I or II certificate in a content area (Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Space Science, English, General Science, Mathematics, Physics, Social Studies) or Reading Specialist and wants to become certified to teach Special Education in Pennsylvania secondary schools (grades 7-12). The program is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Students who successfully complete the requirements will be recommended for the Secondary (7-12) Special Education teaching certificate.

This program is recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE).
