  • Lions Fall In Conference Championship

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- Penn State Harrisburg’s men soccer team upset the number two-seeded Cazenovia Wildcats in an overtime thriller on Saturday, Nov. 5 and advanced to its second straight North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship game.  Unfortunately for the Lions, their underdog story came to an end when top seeded SUNYIT shut them out and claimed their second straight conference crown the next day.

  • Four Lions Earn All-Conference Honors

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- Four Penn State Harrisburg student-athletes were named men’s soccer all-conference selections by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) on Wednesday, Nov. 2.  Senior forward Ian Lake (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cedar Cliff) and senior defender Caleb Hoppes (Harrisburg, PA/Middletown) were named as first team all-conference picks.  Senior defender Brendan Garner (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) was chosen as a second team all-conference selection while senior midfielder Jonathan Joseph (Miramer, FL/Summerset) earned third team all-conference honors.

  • Lions Lose Heartbreaker On Senior Day

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- Prior to Penn State Harrisburg’s home game against Penn State Abington on Saturday, Oct. 22, the Lions’ players, coaches and fans paid tribute to eight seniors who have been a crucial part of the men’s soccer program’s newfound success in recent years. Unfortunately, despite a valiant comeback effort, the Lions were unable to overcome an early deficit and fell to the visitors from Abington 2-1 in a double overtime heartbreaker.

  • Lions Bounce Back

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- After suffering their first conference defeat of the year this past Sunday, the Lions rebounded nicely and handed Penn State York just its second loss of the season on Tuesday, Oct. 5. Penn State Harrisburg used a three-goal, second half surge to pull away and win the non-conference match-up, 4-0.

  • Lions Fall to League-Leading Wildcats

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- Penn State Harrisburg and SUNYIT battled for sole possession of first place in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) standings on Sunday, Oct. 2.  Unfortunately for the home team, the visiting Wildcats scored early and often, while limiting a Lion squad that netted nearly three goals a game in its first six contests to just one score.
