  • Lions Honor Seniors; Clinch Division

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg’s men’s basketball team celebrated Senior Night by besting North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Gallaudet 94-74 and clinching the conference’s South Division title.  Seniors Kenton Alston (Harrisburg, PA/Steel-High) and Dave Reisinger (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin East) were honored before the game and put up solid numbers in their last home game wearing the blue and white but it was junior Steve Jones (Harrisburg, PA/Harrisburg) who led the way with 29 points and nine rebounds.

  • Welcome Back, Mr. Reisinger

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa- After turning his ankle in the Lions’ season-opener and battling the injury ever since, Penn State Harrisburg senior forward Dave Reisinger (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin East) turned in his strongest performance of the year in the team’s 95-82 victory over conference foe Penn State Abington on Sunday, Jan. 29.  The CD East alum started his first game since the New Year and dropped a career-high 29 points on the visitors.

  • Lions Show Character In Defeat

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg lost an 86-84 heartbreaker to one of the best non-conference opponents the team has faced all year in Valley Forge Christian on Wednesday, Jan. 25.  It was a bitter pill to swallow seeing as the defeat ended the Lions’ record-setting eight-game winning streak.  But rather than focus on the gut-wrenching loss, the 150-plus fans in attendance at the Capital Union Building will remember the furious and hard-fought blue and white second half comeback effort that fell just short.

  • Jones Picks Up His Second Conference Honor

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa - For the second time in just three weeks, Penn State Harrisburg junior Steve Jones (Harrisburg, PA/Harrisburg) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men’s basketball Co-Student Athlete of the Week for the time period ending Sunday, Jan. 15. The versatile guard has had an outstanding season, evidenced by the fact that he recently earned the accolade for the first time just 14 days ago.

  • Penn State Harrisburg Wins Record-Setting Seventh Straight

    MIDDLETOWN, Pa- The Lions used one of their strongest all-around efforts of the season to pick up a big win over Keuka on Sunday, Jan. 16.  Five Penn State Harrisburg players netted double-digit points on their way to a dominant 92-68 victory in front of a sizable hometown crowd of nearly 150 fans.
