Lions Finish Season at NCAA Championships

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg’s golf team finished up its historic 2011-2012 season by taking part in the NCAA’s Division III Championship Tournament in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL on Tuesday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 16.  The Lions, led by North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Player of the Year Matt Plummer (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) and two-time Coach of the Year Brad Kane, earned their trip to the Sunshine State when they won their second-straight league championship a few weeks back.

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s tennis team’s 2011-2012 season came to an end in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament when the Lions fell to Grove City 5-0 on Friday, May 11.  After earning the first NCAA berth in program history, the blue and white wrapped up its spring at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

Shorthanded Lions Fall In NEAC Tourney

MIDDLETOWN, Pa.-  Penn State Harrisburg’s 2012 season came to an end on Saturday, May 5 when the Lions lost a pair of games in the second round of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship tournament.  With its core group of seniors out of the lineup due to the school’s graduation ceremony taking place the same day, the blue and white fell to host-school Keuka, the eventual tourney champion, 13-5 in the first game before falling 5-3 in a hard-fought contest against Cazenovia later that afternoon.
