Penn State Harrisburg and Nese College of Nursing to host 'Seeking Asylum' film

Penn State Harrisburg’s Diversity and Educational Equity Committee and the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing will co-sponsor an event featuring the film documentary "Seeking Asylum" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 10 in the Kulkarni Theater at Penn State Harrisburg and virtually via Zoom for University Park students and other virtual attendees.

Libraries introduces Camp Meade collection, Spanish–American War exhibition

The Fred M. Greguras Camp Meade Collection is now available at the Madlyn L. Hanes Library, Penn State Harrisburg, and open for research by Penn State students and faculty as well as military historians and researchers. In addition, the library is collaborating with the National Guard of Pennsylvania History Project to present a special exhibition commemorating the 125th anniversary of the Spanish–American War of 1898, on display through Sept. 1.
2023 Univ Libraries Awards Winners

University Libraries honors 2023 employee award recipients

Penn State University Libraries recognized 11 outstanding faculty and staff on May 31, from among its more than 500 employees. Faculty and staff based at the Penn State Berks, Harrisburg and University Park campuses were recognized. Faye Chadwell, dean of University Libraries and Scholarly Communications, presided over an awards ceremony to continue a tradition of recognizing employees that spans at least 49 years.

As it has from the beginning of the pandemic, Penn State will continue to follow CDC guidance on COVID-19, and university officials urge all members of the Penn State community to take recommended preventative steps to keep themselves and others healthy.
